When is lounge furniture suitable for outdoor use?

Lounge furniture is always suitable when your guests need to sit together comfortably, relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. But of course, lounge furniture must also fit in with the concept. Lounge furniture requires more space than tables and chairs. Small outdoor areas then quickly look too crowded. The low lounge tables are also less suitable for eating food and are designed more for finger food, cocktails and bar specialties. Synthetic mesh

Artificial braiding is based on an artificially produced fiber that is characterized by high flexibility and tear resistance. The fibers are dyed through. This prevents color changes over time. They do not absorb moisture and the furniture is quickly dry again after a rain shower. Synthetic wickerwork is dirt-repellent and insensitive to high temperature fluctuations.

Steel

Steel is a very robust metal that can be coated using various surface processes. For outdoor use, the surface must be galvanized before powder coating. This process provides adequate protection against corrosion.

What properties does Olefin fabric have?

We use easy-care Olefin fabric as the cover for the seat and back cushions in many of our outdoor lounge ranges. Olefin looks very similar to cotton fabric and is therefore ideal for outdoor lounge furniture. In line with the trend of furnishing outdoor areas with increasing attention to detail, olefin fabric helps to bring a real living room feeling to your outdoor area. The fabric is weatherproof and UV-resistant. Even rain showers are no problem for the material: It is water-repellent and quick-drying. If it continues to rain, you should store the cushions in a dry place or cover them with a protective cover.

How do you care for lounge furniture properly?

When choosing furniture for outdoor use, you should pay attention to ease of care. Outdoor lounge furniture from VEGA can be safely wiped down with a little water and a soft cloth. Mild soapy water is also suitable for cleaning your outdoor lounge furniture. As a natural weathering process occurs on wooden furniture under the influence of moisture and sunlight, you should treat wooden furniture with a wood care product once a season. Outdoor seat cushions can be cleaned with warm water, a little soapy water and a soft brush. Removable covers can also often be machine washed at low temperatures. Storing lounge furniture in winter

Although outdoor lounge furniture is weatherproof, it should be stored in a dry place at the end of the season. However, not everyone has the space to bring the lounge furniture indoors in winter. That's why you can also use suitable protective covers. This protects the furniture from rain and snow and allows it to survive the winter outdoors undamaged.
