Bishop's mitre - the classic

The bishop's mitre is a beautiful and classic napkin folding variation. Fold cloth napkins into a bishop's mitre to enhance your table setting. This fold is usually placed on the plate. With a little practice, you can quickly fold it out of a napkin. The fairly neutral, classic motif is suitable all year round and therefore perfect for standard daily folding. Their shape is reminiscent of carnival hats and is therefore ideal for the fifth season.

Our tip

The bowl shape is particularly suitable for placing small gifts or decorations in.

What color? Fabric or paper?

With the bishop's mitre, you are not restricted by color. Whether tone on tone with the tablecloth or striking contrasts - the classic look allows for anything. The fabric bishop's mitre is the most beautiful. If you do use paper napkins for folding, make sure that the material is of high quality. Thin paper napkins will fall apart immediately. If you want it to be really elegant, single-colored, high-quality cloth napkins are a must. Small patterns also look beautiful. Napkins printed on one side are not a good idea here, as the front and back of the napkin are visible at the same time.
