The candle is an elegant, classic and fairly simple napkin folding variant. Fold cloth napkins into a candle and transform your table setting into a stylish table! This fold is usually placed on the plate. The candle-shaped folded napkin is particularly suitable for flat laid tables. Its height makes it immediately eye-catching. As it is rolled rather than folded, you can fold it out of a napkin in a flash. The fairly neutral, classic motif is suitable all year round and is therefore perfect for the standard daily fold in chic restaurants. But the candle is also the perfect choice for festive occasions such as weddings or Christmas.
With the candle, you actually have complete freedom in terms of color. Whether tone-in-tone with the tablecloth or striking contrasts - the classic fold allows everything. The fabric candle is the most elegant. If you do use paper napkins for folding, make sure that the material is of high quality. Thin paper napkins destroy the elegant impression. In addition, paper is not so easy to roll up without creating creases and folds. Fabric is much more suitable here. In upscale restaurants, high-quality, single-colored - usually white - cloth napkins are a must. Small woven or printed patterns can also achieve great effects with the candle. Large patterns do not suit this folding technique. Napkins printed on one side can also be used to fold a candle.
Wrap a satin ribbon around the bottom of the napkin candle for contrast. This not only looks good, but also provides additional stability.
