Fish Plates

What are fish plates?

Fish plates, sometimes referred to as fish platters, are specialised plates designed for the stylish presentation of fish dishes, whole fish or seafood. Their distinctive elongated, typically oval shape offers ample room for whole fish or fillets along with accompanying sides. This allows for an attractive, refined presentation on the plate and makes it easier for your guests to enjoy the dish.

What types of fish plates are available?

Plates for fish dishes generally feature an elongated, slightly narrower shape with a size of 30–40 cm – ideal for serving whole fish in a professional kitchen. Depending on your concept, presentation style and the type of fish, several variations of fish plates are available:

• Oval fish plates: These models are the classic choice for serving fish. Their elongated form provides plenty of space for whole fish or larger fillets and allows for a harmonious arrangement with side dishes.

• Fish-shaped plates: Playful and eye-catching, these plates let you create deliberate visual highlights. They are perfect for themed restaurants, buffets or special occasions.

• Plates with fish motifs: Decorative fish motifs complement maritime or traditional design concepts in restaurants beautifully.

In addition, plates for fish dishes at LUSINI are available in a variety of materials:

• Porcelain: the classic choice for serving different types of fish such as salmon, as well as fillets

• Stoneware & ceramic: distinctive and often with a handcrafted character

• Glass: modern and ideal for special presentations
