To keep your steak knife looking good for a long time, please follow these tips:

• Clean by hand and dry immediately.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners.
• Treat regularly with care oil or mineral oil to maintain the lustre.

Important note:

If the surface protection oil of the Bakelite handle is removed by cleaning, the handle may turn white when it dries. Water makes the black colour visible again for a short time, but it disappears when it evaporates. Regular care with a little oil will keep the handle permanently deep black and shiny.
