So you can use your outdoor area even in cooler temperatures
In an attractively designed outdoor area, vacation mood comes up and the vitamin D storage can be properly refilled. But what if the weather is actually nice, but the temperatures aren't quite as warm? We'll show you how to make your outdoor area attractive even in cooler temperatures and thus extend the outdoor season.
Furnishings
Already when you furnish your outdoor area, you should not only focus on the summer! Many guests also sit outside in spring or on beautiful days in autumn and enjoy a few rays of sunshine. Weather-resistant outdoor furniture is therefore the be-all and end-all. So that you can occupy the outdoor area even in changeable weather without much extra effort, your outdoor furniture must dry quickly after a rain shower.

Protection against sun, wind and rain showers
In summer temperatures, sunshades are a must in the outdoor area! Because even if your guests want to enjoy the nice weather, only the fewest want to sit in the blazing sun. In cooler temperatures, however, it can be quite different: Especially then, many guests prefer a place in the sun. Therefore, when choosing your parasols, make sure to choose models that are as flexible as possible. Traffic light umbrellas can often be swiveled and tilted in different directions. Thus each guest finds the place, after him straight is. Another advantage: umbrellas can usually withstand even minor rain showers and ensure that your guests stay dry. Also remember to plan for a windbreak. Observe which direction the wind usually comes from and place plants or separation systems here.
Blankets and seat cushions
When the temperatures start to cool down in the evenings or summer slowly turns into fall, it doesn't have to mean that your outdoor season is over! With a few little tricks, you can make sure that your guests still enjoy sitting outside. Seat cushions are not only comfortable, but also ensure that your guests still sit warmly in cooler temperatures. Heated seat cushions are particularly practical. If you provide your guests with additional blankets, nothing stands in the way of a stay outdoors.

Radiant heaters
Do you have a sheltered outdoor area? Then you should rely on radiant heaters for the cooler days. Radiant heaters can be easily mounted on the walls or patio canopy to provide cozy warmth. Many models have different heating levels and can thus be perfectly adapted to the outdoor temperature. Note: Whether radiant heaters are allowed or not varies from municipality to municipality. Find out what rules apply in your area before installing patio heaters.

You do not have a protected outdoor area, but you still want to use radiant heaters? No problem: Some radiant heaters can be attached directly to the sunshade.
Heat from inside
When the temperatures are slowly getting cooler again is the right moment to unpack your hot drinks card again! Various teas, hot chocolate or maybe already the first punch: Warm drinks warm from the inside and make the outdoor area so especially cozy!
