If you need romance on your table, the heart napkin fold is just the thing. It's very simple and brings a little amorous smile to everyone's face. The heart is an uncomplicated folding technique and can therefore be quickly conjured up from a napkin. This fold is usually placed in the middle and flat on the plate. Fold cloth napkins into hearts and crown your table setting for a romantic occasion! The motif is suitable all year round for candlelight dinners, weddings and wedding anniversaries. But the most important day for all hearts is Valentine's Day, which you can sweeten a little more for your guests with folded napkin hearts.
If there is no place mat on which to lay the napkin, simply use the heart as a base for the cutlery!
You should choose a classic color for the heart. Red is the color of love and definitely suits the heart fold. If you want something more elegant, the napkin can also be white or cream-colored. If you don't want a classic color, you can go with the color scheme of the rest of the table decorations. Large patterns are not appropriate here. Fabric and paper are possible materials. With fabric, you should make sure that it is not too thick. If the fabric is too thick, the creases may unfold again. Napkins printed on one side with a subtle pattern can also be used to fold a heart.
Put a small gift or decorative flowers in the middle flap!
