Place the bottom corner on the top corner to form a triangle.
Fold the bottom corners in the middle of the top corners.
Turn the napkin over so that the smooth side is on top. The free corners should be facing downwards.
Fold the bottom right and left sides to the center line of the napkin.
Now place the bottom corner upwards so that it is flush with the other edges.
Turn the napkin over.
Pull the side edges and the top edge outwards so that it looks like a shirt collar.
Done! A menu card can now be placed in the middle if desired.

Especially for New Year's Eve, restaurateurs always need new ideas on how to continue impressing their guests after the decorative Christmas season. A tuxedo is the ideal motif. This fold adds a chic flair to the table decoration. The tuxedo can be placed perfectly on the plate. With a little practice, it can be folded out of a napkin in a flash. The tuxedo folding motif is also perfect for celebrations such as Father's Day or a wedding.
Place your menu in a tuxedo and present it in a playful yet stylish way.
If you are folding a tuxedo, you should choose a matching color for the napkin. The classic choice here is black. As this is not the classic napkin color that every caterer has in stock, white, beige or red are also suitable. Or add even more flair to your New Year's Eve dinner with silver napkins. If you place your menu in a tuxedo, you should pay attention to color variety. White paper in a white napkin on a white plate on a white tablecloth looks too monotonous.
The fabric version is a must in chic restaurants. The choice of fabric can be a little more elegant. Make sure it has a nice sheen. Napkin tuxedos made of fabric make for a particularly elegant New Year's Eve gala. A paper napkin is not suitable. Single-colored, high-quality cloth napkins are preferable.
If you want it to be even more playful, place a small bow tie!
