Placemats are real classics of table culture. They visually enhance your dining table and protect it from bumps with the dishes or cutlery. The sets can be used with or without a tablecloth. If there is a tablecloth, the placemat protects it from stains. The sets thus function as a kind of coaster. They protect the dining table and prevent tablecloths or table runners from getting dirty while eating.

Classic placemats are made of textiles such as cotton or polyester. Modern placemats are usually made of easy-care synthetics, which are characterized by their heat resistance. This is important when food is served very hot, for example. Placemats are available in many different colors, such as chic placemats in black or earth tones. Here at LUSINI, simply use the filter to select the shades you want, to match the style of your restaurant or dining area at home.

How you clean your placemats depends on the material you use. If you decide to use washable placemats, they are usually made of plastic or synthetic fabric fibers. The placemats are washable when they get dirty. To do this, simply wipe them with a damp cloth and some dishwashing liquid. Textile placemats are machine washable if they are made of synthetic fabrics or cotton.
